Symbolic Birds

A five tier memory box created in walnut and of dovetail form celebrating the unity of a family.

Each box, representing an individual family member, can stand independently, but when placed together, the five pieces form an integrated family unit. No matter where the siblings are scattered across the world, when they come together they form a united family.

Flowers and birds were chosen as symbols representing the character traits of each family member.

The top box is dedicated to the parents and is banded with burr ash and strung in boxwood. Linework of Kingswood separates the two timbers.

The box is traditionally hand French polished to a silky-smooth beeswax finish.
