Sands of Time Hourglass Box
This substantial handmade hourglass, with its walnut base inlaid with a good wishes sentiment, was created to signify the appreciation by colleagues of time given and well spent by their exiting chairman.
The makassar presentation box is banded in ziricote and strung in ebony. Its front is fitted with a lock and handmade key and a monogram is inlaid to the top.
Upholstered interior pieces to cushion the hourglass are removable allowing the box to be used for alternative purposes by the recipient.
