The Nature of the Sixth Sense Collection

"Nature of the Sixth Sense" Collection - Available Now

We are proud to announce the launch of a unique collection of artworks hand-made by our marquetry experts and artists.

Each piece has been designed to visually describe the three stages of flight or fight using the most exquisite marquetry skills. The collection includes a golden eagle soaring above a breath-taking landscape, a salmon leaping from its watery depths and majestic stag with subtle movement that the eyes can only wonder at.

A total of eighteen limited edition pieces have been created, each mounted in a distinctive hand-made solid walnut frame surrounded by an inlay of raw birch tree bark. The artwork can be purchased as a collection or as individual portraits, respectively with its own certificate of authenticity, signed by each craftsperson that created the piece.

Nigel Heldreich describes the new collection as individual and striking; “When we create a piece for a client we listen to each personal journey and combine our imagination, artwork skills and traditional marquetry crafts to develop the perfect representation of true art.

“Creating the Nature of the Sixth Sense collection was no different, and the limitations lay only within our imagination. Each piece can also be personalised. When someone walks into the gallery and describes the pieces as exquisite, they often find their own mind’s eye taking them to another level. If only the eagle was soaring above a landmark that was personal to them, or a favourite flower was included – we can change the marquetry to suit your wishes. We also see this as just the beginning, our next stages will be to create a new collection that could be based around an equestrian theme with a series of stallions and mares – watch this space.”
