Wedding at Wheathills
Last year, Simon Newbold and Nicola
McKenzie fulfilled their dream of a romantic Victorian
style wedding at Wheathills. Arriving in style on an original
19th Century carriage Nicola, who was wearing a typical
dress of the period, took a step back in time to enjoy
a traditional wedding with 50 guests and close friends.
The restored Ballroom at Wheathills
was the scene for the ceremony, the perfect environment
to create a period setting. Canapes, traditional Punch
and a Champagne toast ensured everyone enjoyed the special
celebration before the happy couple set off to explore
Kenya on their honeymoon.
