Keepsake Box - perfect present - a keepsake box for a loved one

One of a pair of very individual Memory Boxes, created as heart-felt gifts to a brother and sister by their devoted Grandparents.
The interiors have been upholstered in fine suede, one in cerise pink, the other in Cobalt blue.

Favourite and private moments can be kept and easily changed in the solid Walnut photo slip of oval panels fitted to the inner lid. Below the photo panels is a handmade and engraved cartouche displaying a loving message from the Grandparents.
A handmade exquisite Memory Box from Wheathills
The exterior has a panel to all sides of Burr Tiger Oak and is cross-banded to the edges with Golden Silky Oak. Boxwood stringing divides and defines the two timbers. The lid is decorated with an oval fan with dyed lime background and sand-burnt boxwood segments encompassing a slightly domed, handmade and engraved solid Brass cartouche, this box is the epitome of the Cabinet Makers' skill..
All is paistakenly and traditionally French Polished to draw out every last drop of Nature's unique beautiful timber
