The new Wheathills Design Resource
centre is an exciting and unique space. It has been
designed to inspire customers and help our Cabinet Makers,
French Polishers and Traditional Upholsterers to create
highly individual items of hand made furniture. The
collection of books brings together the interesting
world of furniture design, periods in history, antiques,
restoration, bespoke furniture and interior styling.
The interesting split-level Design Room features a number
of specially sourced items designed to enhance the interior;
the spiral staircase originates from a Victorian Drapery
shop in Norwich and is a great example of old fashioned
craftsmanship. The Chandelier is very special and originates
from Venice and probably graced an opulent room in a
Merchant's house or similar.
Hand-made furniture from Wheathills
is a creative collaboration in every sense. We encourage
every customer to explore their individual tastes, appreciate
fundamentals of design and most importantly recognise
the influence of the past.

our new Design Resource Studio houses an extensive collection
of books and references that are a perfect source of
inspiration:

At Wheathills our aim is to create classic designs with
a modern twist - a modern classic has a signature style
