The new Wheathills Design Resource
centre is an exciting and unique space. It has been
designed to inspire customers and help our Cabinet Makers,
French Polishers and Traditional Upholsterers to create
highly individual items of handmade furniture and Memory Boxes. The
collection of books brings together the interesting
world of furniture design, periods in history, antiques,
restoration, bespoke furniture and interior styling.
The interesting split-level Design Room features a number
of specially sourced items designed to enhance the interior;
the spiral staircase originates from a Victorian Drapery
shop in Norwich and is a great example of old fashioned
craftsmanship. The Chandelier is very special and originates
from Venice and probably graced an opulent room in a
Merchant's house or similar.
It is in the Design Room that we
meet clients who wish to design their
Handmade Furniture requirements, or are designing
their beautiful Marquetry
Memory Boxes; Wheathills is a creative collaboration
in every sense.

At Wheathills our aim is to create classic designs with
