The
box is constructed from a hand-selected section
of Walnut ,the crossbanding is in Macassa and
strung in Ebony and Boxwood.
The box was designed to reflect the family love
of roses, and the marquetry roses are created
using five different timbers: Maple, Walnut, Cherrywood,
Sycamore and Dyed Lime.
The interior is upholstered in fine biscuit suede
and inscribed to celebrate the Christening of
Emily.
The Brass hinges are handmade in New York, the
key is handmade, as is the Brass raised escutcheon.
